Michael A. Price is the president and founder of First Mergers Group, L.L.C. First Mergers Group is a leading mergers and acquisitions consulting firm that assists middle market business owners in evaluating divesture strategies, liquidity options and industry consolidation. First Mergers has completed over 100 transactions with combined annualized revenues of excess of $3.2 billion.
Price founded First Mergers Group in 1996. Between 1992 and 1996, Price provided business development consulting to middle market private business owners. Prior to that he was a practicing environmental engineer from 1986 to 1992. He graduated from State University of New York Potsdam College in 1986 with a BA.
Price has authored and published numerous articles and is an accomplished public speaker. Price resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and four children.
Alan has over 20 years of M&A experience and has been involved in more than 100 buy-side and sell-side transactions primarily in the HVAC industry. Alan has owned several businesses including an HVAC Service Company, Film Production Firm and Minor League Baseball Teams. Alan’s industry experience and contacts are a valuable resource to First Mergers Group clients.
Alan and his wife split their time between Nevada and California with their two children.
Chris has over 15 years of M&A experience and has been involved in more than 50 buy-side and sell-side transactions in various industries. Chris focuses on working with privately held businesses in the construction, engineering, environmental and industrial sectors. Chris has owned several businesses including a general contracting, environmental and insurance consulting firms. He earned his MBA in 1986 from Emporia State University.
Chris and his wife live in Richmond, Virginia with their two children.
Robert is a First Mergers Group deal partner and the Managing Partner and Founder of Broadside Advisors. Robert has nearly 20 years of experience in M&A and capital markets.
Prior to founding Broadside Advisors, from 1999-2016 Robert directed the mergers and acquisition efforts at three companies, including two facility services companies that were part of a buy-and-build strategy where the owners successfully sold the businesses to publicly-traded companies. Prior to working in mergers and acquisitions, Robert was an analyst at Salomon Brothers in New York City.
Robert graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Commerce, and received his MBA from UVA’s Darden School. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children.
